[Healeys] Something Controversial?

I had helped a friend here in Hong Kong with his S1 E-type, I helped him
sort a complete mechanical rebuild, done to a great standard to where you
could drive this thing for years, daily. The car was set
up beautifully and ran better than any other jag in HK except my Mk IX.

For various reasons my friend ended up wanting a new car and sold it (and I
wasn't ready to buy it at that time). Some Chinese guy bought and put it
in his warehouse across the border... it is no longer being driven.

I ask... why would someone like this bother to buy this car?
