[Healeys] oil pressure gauge problem

Let's see a show of hands:

How many people believe any oil remains in the line from the block to the gauge when the engine is shut down and all 
pressure is removed from the oil system?

Note the oil pressure gauge, being mechanical, would indicate pressure when the engine is shut down if that was the case.
