Tom,

Definitely install new bearings into a new assembly. Stick with good name
brands like Timken, SKF, etc. There are many quality manufacturers of
bearings.

Subject: [Healeys] Replace bearings?

I have question for the wisdom of the list. I'm ready to replace the front
spindles on my BJ8; should I replace the bearings at the same time? I
have 69K original miles on the car. I don't know what the life expectancy
of the original parts is, and I don't want to replace working parts with new
parts that might not be of the same quality.

thanks,

Tom
