[Healeys] oil choices

Chris,
It has nothing to do with the type of engine, modern or old, cast iron 
or alloy, more with resistance in the internal oil ways of the engine. 
Some engines have long and/or precious small diameter oil ways. These 
kind of engines are at risk. It is not all pressure you need. You also 
want flow.
