[Healeys] 60 Years ago today

Do you remember the gee whiz technology that was used to get the coronation
on TV for is here in the US? As I remember, teams from one of the networks
were filming the coronation in segments. A segment would be rushed to a
waiting jet to be ferried over here, would be processed enroute and ready
for TV when it arrived. As I recall, it was done in segments so that we
were running only a few hours behind real time. It was the first time
anything so  modern had been tried. I even remember watching.
