Food for thought. Why couldn't Smoothline reproduce a works hardtop which a
lot of Healey owners seem to want instead of the one they make now that
doesn't seem to be very popular anymore?

Usually, I think, when someone wants a hardtop, they want one that is factory
style. The Smoothline and earlier incarnation, Parrish, have their own
distinct styling, like it or not.
I have a Parrish for BN7 still available.
