I knew Rich was very ill, but I'm still shocked.
We didn't just lose a wealth of detailed information about our hobby, 
but a friend who was willing to go to a lot of trouble to help us get 
it right.
Whenever I visited Rich in his workshop, our conversation spanned all 
manner of subjects, and his enthusiasm was infectious. His main 
concern, even when judging, was that everyone was having fun. A true 
gent.
