Yep - pleasant surprise in the ceremony and consistant with the industrial
revolution opening theme - now all relics of the former British automotive
glory days......[very few Corsair convertibles made]

AC - collapsed
Healey - collaped
MG - collapsed
Triumph - collapsed
Rover - owned by Germans then Asians
Lotus - owned by Asians
Ford UK - ongoing burden on the parent
Rolls Royce - owned by Germans
Bentley - owned by Germans
Jaguar, owned by Indians
And it goes on and on.....as we all know

Yep, the good old days......but nice to see them in the arena as a tribute to
once great British great design - hope Gerry Coker was watching.....

Would be a sad but an interesting book to write - Demise of the British
Automobile Industry.
