[Healeys] Rebuilding a Healey Overdrive

I think you are referring to the gaskets on both sides of the "adaptor plate"
which mates to the transmission & the main casing of the overdrive. That is
not the joint I am referring to. There is a component referred to as the
"brake ring" which mates to the O.D. main casing & the O.D. rear housing. The
Victoria British gasket kit does not include gaskets for either side of the
brake ring, nor does the original parts book. But it still seems to me like a
good place to have gaskets, especially since mine leaks in that area after
having it professionally rebuilt!

I rebuilt the OD in my BN6 last year and used a gasket set from
Victoria-British. It had gaskets for both sides of the joint between the
transmission and the overdrive. The gaskets were thin paper. If you look at
the VB catalog on-line you can see the gaskets depicted in the gasket set.
They are not available as separate pieces and are not shown in the exploded
view of either the transmission or the overdrive.
