I have had several wheels made by Mike Lempert of SC. He is very knowledge
and his made to order wheels are superb. If you want something special or a
period correct wheel, I would suggest Mike. All of his wheels are hand
made and bent the period way. Because of the quality and request he receives
and that fact he is a one man show, build time is likely extended vs online
ordering but you won't be disappointed.
No financial interest, just pure honesty. Also I would suggest visiting his
 web site gallery.

Moto Lita are the most period correct. They were making the wheels in the
1950s and they are still making them now. Derrington wheels were actually
made by Moto Lita. If you are going to the trouble of changing the wheel I
would recommend buying the 15 inch version.
