Make SURE the coil is rated for the Petronix Unit being installed.
I *smoked* a couple Petronix Units with the "Lucas Sports Coil"
Customer had installed with his points. 

Couldn't figure out WTF was going on until Petronix called ME
and asked if I was using a "LSC".  Bingo.  Problem solved<G> !
