I interacted with Phil in 1999 when I was looking for my BN6. He was running a picture of a BN6 or 7 in Autotrader.com for a very low price - $12k as I recall. 

I went over to his store and it turned out to be a BN4 or BT7 in totally rough condition that looked like generations of chickens had been roosting in it. He claimed his web guy had made a mistake with the picture. "Lovely straight body" was how he referred to the car. It needed _everything_!

That said, that was 12 years ago and he's still doing business in the same place in La Habra so he must be pleasing some people.

He did have some decent cars at decent prices at the time.
