[Healeys] Overdrive slow to engage when hot

The pressure should be ok. The problem in most likley one of the  
check balls is not seated correctly of the adjusment of the solenoid  
is not pulling the operating rod high enough.
Look closley at the seat of the check valve on the side of the oil  
pump it may be worn a little to one side. If so you can cut a new  
seat on the pump body.
