G'day Bob

It just so happens that I know that.

It's a 1 inch Whitworth socket that will have a 3/4 inch drive. It is the
same for all C-series six-cylinder engines. I had the engine of the BN3/1
upside down on the 4-legged engine stand with a block of wood in the
crankcase, the socket, a bar and a long piece of galvanised pipe.

One huge pull and it was loose and yes there was a large dent in the wood.

Listers,

Does anyone know the size of the vibration dampener nut removal socket
for a 3000 engine; either in inches or millimeters?
Thanks,
Bob in Bellflower, Ca.
