[Healeys] Gas tank light rust

Bob makes a very good point.
   If there was rust in the tank, then what ever coating there was to 
prevent rusting,(tin or zinc), has been compromised and without 
treatment will rust in the future, particularly with our alcohol 
enhanced(:-( ) fuel.
