Bob,

Yes, this is the 1/4" UNF bolt that holds the prop rod to the boot lid tab.
"AUTO" is the vendor name, the  "R" is the strength rating code, which is
45/45 TT or Tons Tensile strength (this roughly equates to a Grade 5 SAE
bolt), and the circular depression indicates UNF versus Whitworth, in this
case, BSF.

I've seen a number of vendor names in this specific application to include;
"WILEY", and "TORRINGTON", besides "AUTO."  There would have been a Nyloc
nut securing this bolt.
