Mike,

I know.  Both the bend in the "X" brace and the notched upright were
mentioned, I just didn't address the later.  So regarding the notch, it's
just hard to see from the photo.  However, somehow those original H6 carbs
and cold air box managed to fit.  So like I said, having found a whole lot
of M's over the years, ALL verified authentic by Bill Wood (I'm batting a
1000), my money is that this is the real deal.

Now, let's see what this ends up selling for.
