Its a terriffic little book, jam-packed with Healey technical stuff (albeit
condensed to fit the glovebox size) . Donald Healey himself gives an
historical overview, there is a competition mods section at the back, and
there are tons of illustrations taken from the workshop manual. The Sprite,
beloved of Donald, is given equal billing.

Another book in the same vein worth tracking down is "Austin-Healey Guide" by
Donald Healey and his best buddy Tommy Wisdom. Most commonly seen in paperback
as part of the Modern Sports Car Series in the US, its actually nearly
identical to the hardcover "The Austin-Healey" by Healey and Wisdom, published
in the UK at the same time in 1959. DMH always made sure the USA was in the
picture when he did something.
