[Healeys] annoying rattle

Listers:

I have had an annoying rattle under the dash for a long time, and it's
driving me crazy.  Whenever driving on rough roads, it sounds like a cable
or something is bouncing and banging against the underside of the dash.  I
have reached under everywhere I can get my hand and can't seem to find
anything loose or in a spot where it would rattle.  Has anyone else had
this, and what did you do to fix it.
