[Healeys] Distributor on the 100 engine

A small question here..:

My engine is finally painted with the gearbox painted and I tried to mount
the distributor, but is does not want to sit all the way in. There is about
5mm gap:

Anyone has any idea what the problem is?

It was rebuild by Advanced Distributors.
