  To keep your sanity the max speed is about 50mph, a bit less for the 
diesel. With a squeeze the diesel may reach 60mph, the petrol version 
about 65mph. Lethal with these machines. You do need ear protection for 
long hauls, plus a big can of 20W50, a spare can of fuel, a decent 
supply of spare parts and a well equipped toolbox.
Prepare for the most uncomfortable ride you ever experienced in your 
life if you are over 6 ft tall.
