Alex,

...and my Healey had a old flatted beer can riveted to the floor under the
left hand seat and under the carpet covering a rusted out hole :-)  Just
kidding.

I would be interested in seeing a picture of this if you think it's
original.  I've never heard of this but who knows... it's worth documenting
in case we see it again.
