[Healeys] BJ7 top and dash support

I am assembling my BJ7 and I have a piece marked "dash support"  I belive I
see where the front end goes but where does the dash end attach to the dash?

I replace the sills on my car and I now have no idea where the two top assist
springs are attached at the bottom, can someone give me a hint?

I know someone will come through with the answers and I am, as always very
gratefull for the help.
