[Healeys] brake booster

[I Erbs]

remove vacuum hose, pump brakes. if pedal goes to floor most likely bad
booster, if pedal is hard, problem lies elsewhere.  Another possible sign is
low fluid resevoir, with no sign of a leak. The booster can be sucking the
fluid out.
