A. Yes. Sill carpet comes up vertical surface and turns at top to end right 
at outboard edge.

A. They must be fitted together to get an exactly even and precise fit. 
Expect a lot of trimming of alloy edges. #6 countersunk trim screws 
countersink slightly into alloy surface, unlike later cars.

A. Beading comes down to chamfered edge and just meets the cockpit rail, 
does NOT go under.
