[Healeys] Confusion - was King Pin with needle bearings

I'm confused - are we discussing the needle upper-trunnion thrust bearing or
is it a lower bushing replacement?

is the same as the wheel bearings. You will add or subtract shims  
until you have about .003 end float. You want it to have no movement  
but no drag when the trunnion is tightened.
