So - still no response to
my question from all the concours critics .....
"which BN1 would have won a
concours in around June 1953 - given there were 5
entrants - all were
original - and all are less than 30 days old?"
And judged by their peers.
Judged by their peers? - Beauty is in the eye of
the beholder. Your
description is that of a Popularity Car Show.

So - which car would win my
theoretical concours????? Your Theoretical Concours
desribes a Popularity Car
Show. In Concours judging all five could win Gold or
Not. There could
possibly be damage done to the cars during the first 30 days
which would
result in deductions for condition. There is no intended winner in
Concours
Judging. Cars are judged against standards not each other.
