I would have thought that someone in the area would have a used engine 
that may have been better than the one he had.  Of course the amount of 
screwing around that you or I would do would be a lot more than he was 
interested in.
Those guys seem to have quite a high gross profit margin, usually around 
100%.  It is hard to believe that overhead would be so high as to 
warrant that.  Normal companies have a 10-15% gross profit with net 
being half or less of that.
