[Healeys] Fitting the armrest pad on BN2

Thomas,

I can't help you specifically with the thin jute under padding fitted to the 
gearbox cover carpet. However I have seen it in the past and it is very thin 
and simply glues in place on the carpet, staying about 2" back from any 
edges.

The two forward male Tenax studs are attached to the tunnel carpet and
float in the carpet. (see picture 20031 showing an original BN2 with arm 
rest removed) Though they are no doubt not
supplied with any kits, the under sides are similar to the female ones where
the threaded stud base will go down through the carpet and the threaded
locking ring will screw on from below, tightening with the standard Tenax
wrench into the two little holes.
