[Healeys] wierd electrics

noticed tonigh when shutting off the bn6 that if i do not turn the lights off before turning off the ignition, the engine continues to run. turn of lights first, and it will shut down immedietely when key is turned.  might be normal, but have not consulted the book and wiring diagram yet.  any else experience this anomoly on their healey?   hjim
