James -

For sustained high speed I'd put minilites and the 185/70-15 Pirelli
tires that Longstone tyres in the UK sells exclusively.  Nice fat
meaty tread and no need for inner tubes.

I'd also look at the camber adjusting options and by all means make
sure every track rod end is in very good shape.
