No, I don't think so.  I've heard that having pets also attracts mice as there
is always a bit of stray food lying around.  I would hate to think how many
mice would have to be around to self feed a cat.



Then the cat goes and sharpens its claws on your seats or hood ...



Good brainstorming though!
