Jess -

This has been covered in the archives for this list several times
over, do you know how to search the archives?

The short of it - don't wrap your headers.  They cause the metals to
overheat and crack or fail.

A far better option is to have your headers and downpipes Jet Hot
coated.  Trust me, nothing works better than this stuff.  Google jet
hot coatings.
