[Healeys] Question (not Healey-specific, but possibly relevant)

Listers,

I've never liked or used products that make tires look glossy black (like some 
detailers do).  However, my cars' tires have become faded and stained from brake 
dust and car wash and I'd like to at least restore a 'new tire' look.  Can 
anyone recommend any products that will make tires look sorta new, but not 
garishly black and shiny?
