[Healeys] rear hub locknut

I'm having a hell of a time trying to get the locknut off the rear hub. I do
have a 2-3/16" socket so I'm not trying to get by with an adjustable wrench.

I only need to remove the drivers side and I'm wondering if the nut loosens
to the LEFT (counter clockwise)?

I've soaked this thing in everything imaginable and still no movement. and
yes, I've bent back the lock washer.

Any suggestions before I break my arm trying!
