Of course, is should be rebuilt, but when one buys a new water pump, there is no core charge or request to send the old one anywhere. I thought that maybe the financial incentive is so meager that no one rebuilds them so they can be thrown away. But now that I posted something, a rebuilder has contacted me with a core request. Ken -
