Hi Steve- 

What worked for me was to fish a wire theough, and then secure it to the harness by wrapping it a few times around and back on itself. Then masking tape the whole bugger tightly, so it is smooth and there are no exposed ears hanging out. The masking tape's smooth finish helps it glide through, and the residual oil in the tube helps lube it (and will help the tape to release.
