Dallas -

Not sure if you are joking with me so here goes:

The cooling system is a closed system so it is sensitive to rate of coolant
flow.  Too fast, it won't cool enough in the radiator, too slow it keeps the
hot fluid in the motor too long.

The radiator's heat exchanger is an open system, so the more cool air you
get over it the better.  If you put your healey radiator on the top of a
Saturn 5 rocket, for example, it would help it to keep your Healey very nice
and cool, well at least before it ends up in space.
