The spigots on my '59 BN7 face inboard.   As best I can  determine, this 
is the original, unmolested installation.

Look closely at the spiggot ends. They should have  screwdriver slots in the 
ends. You can carefully rotate these ends to aim  the stream as needed. BTW, 
the spiggots face outboard, not  inboard.
