[Healeys] Gas Caps

Phil -

If you open the boot and smell gas inside, you probably have a pinhole
leak in the bottom of your tank and it's leaking inside the boot.
Most of the bottom of the tank sits on the boot floor and is prone to
corrosion as a result.

Take the tank out and have it pressure tested a gas tank specialist
can repair it or get a new tank...

Also check the filler tube rubber hose for leaks, that's cheaper to fix!
