[Healeys] flat towing a big Healey

I need to move my BJ8 ten miles to my new home and was thinking of flat towing it myself since it is a relatively short distance and it will be all on city streets. I have a home made tow bar I made some years ago that I was thinking of attaching to the front bumper irons (minus bumper) my qustion is are the bumper irons strong enough?
