Rich, I use a white lithium grease called "Lubriplate" on the cam.  You can
get something similar at your local auto parts store.

What is the recommendation for a lubricant for the dizzy cam? In an old
article Norman Nock refers to SL2. Napa and others have never heard of it.
They have no clue. I'm not sure these kids know anything about anything not
electronic.
