On my Mk II BT7 I just removed the back plates and swapped them over. I'd
guess yours is the same. Guess, mind you.

I am about to replace the wiper wheel boxes on my BJ8. Should I remove the
entire assembly or can I remove the back plates and switch them out without
pulling the motor assembly?
