[Healeys] Late BJ8 questions

item 1:  the strange looking flange that holds the rear reflectors (by the
rear bumper),  what finish was on this piece?  I can't tell if it was chrome,
or silver paint?

item 2:  The rear trunk lid seal that I bought for my BN4 looks very different
from what came with my BJ8.  A seal that had markings from AH spares but the
bag was opened.  the seal looks too narrow as compared to the other car.
Maybe the easy question is:  Is the MOSS seal correct?
