[Healeys] Reproduction British Chrome Question

Wow, makes me happy that my MG doesn't have exterior door handles.

Along this same subject has anyone heard of or tried the "spray on" chrome
process done by legitimate companies? I know its a cheaper process but
seems to accomplish the same objective for those that don't have show
quality cars but, need to save some where on their restorations,
(unknowingly had to pretty much replace every part and do-dad on their car)
.

Bright, shiny and smooth, is the goal here, Right? Most casual observers
aren't going to notice
how deep the shine of a chrome bumper is or how much the job cost or do they
really care.

I think its more about how the car looks as a whole.

Jus curious thoughts, Mark
