[Healeys] 100-4 Furlex install & top of door seals

First of all Thank you Rich C. for your answer on the striker pin for the
bonnet.  It seems once you have answered a question no one else chimes in. A
compliment to your knowledge on the esoteric Healey stuff.
This question is for the furflex dust seal that fits beneath the door panel on
the 100-4 doors. Does it extend beyond the vinyl covered door panel at the top
and bottom or should it be trimmed to come just as long as the sides of the
panel. Also it is glued first to the panel before install to insure a smooth
line right?..........
Finally , should it be finished or do we merely see the inner rubber hose
poking out of the top.

On a seperate topic , do you put the more elaborate top of door seals like a
BN2 on BN1's or do you do the more simpler BN1 style
