[Healeys] Fw: Steel ball??

Sorry guys,

Below is the original message I sent out asking about the steel ball. I 
mistyped the size. It's a 1/2" precision steel ball.

No, I don't think it's for oil pressure relief. The oil pressure relief 
valve has a cylindrical shaped body with a chamfered end that beds into a 
chamfered seat and it's backed up by a spring.

John Sims, how did you know I had an ancestor who was an officer in Butler's 
Rangers? Would that make this .50 calibre?
