[Healeys] turning the engine by hand

Hi,

>From the archives, it looks like a 1 11/16 inch socket is required to fit
the crankshaft nut.   Has anyone tried a 15" adjustable wrench (spanner)?
The ones I've seen open to 1 3/4 inch, which is wide enough.   But is there
enough room to grab the crankshaft nut and turn the engine with an
adjustable wrench?
