Hi Philip, I had the same problem on my '66 BJ8 and Mark Baker had me detach one of the two wire connected to that relay and just tape it up, effectively eliminating the relay. Now when I flip off the OD, it works right away. Norman is right again! Edw. J. Keuer Wheaton, IL
