Got an e-mail from Mike Lempert (who has been having e-mail problems) and he
told me the latest 3:54 gear set order should be done by May or June at the
latest.

I agree. Modifying a non-OD transmission can be done, but requires a lot of
parts which may be hard to come by. There are transmission/OD units on Ebay
most of the time although they are a little pricey.

The up side is that you should already have the 3.909:1 final drive, which
when combined with the OD, will give your car some real legs on the road.
